Scrunchie Care
How to hand wash your scrunchies
Hand wash your scrunchies in lukewarm water with a mild detergent to clean them gently but effectively, making sure they keep their elasticity and shape.
- Pour some warm water into a small basin and stir in a small amount of mild detergent.
- Let the scrunchie soak in the water for approximately fifteen minutes.
- To disperse the soap and wash the fabric, gently stir the water with your hands.
- Make sure to completely rinse under running water to get rid of any soap residue.

How to machine wash your scrunchie
Scrunchies made of delicate materials, such as satin or silk, should not be machine-washed; instead, they should be gently hand-washed to preserve their integrity and aesthetic.

- To keep the scrunchie from tangling with other clothes, place it in a mesh laundry bag.
- Use a mild detergent and cold water while washing on a delicate cycle.
- Fabric softeners should not be used because they leave behind residues that could draw dirt.
How to dry & store your scrunchies
To prolong the lifespan and appearance of your scrunchies, store them somewhere cool and dry, away from moisture and direct sunlight.
- Squeeze out any extra water gently; do not wring as this could cause the fabric to stretch.
- To let the scrunchie air dry, place it flat on a fresh towel.
- A tumble dryer should not be used since the heat can harm the fabric’s elasticity.
- After drying, keep your scrunchies somewhere cool and dry to prevent them from being exposed to the sun or moisture.
